Asim Shah graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Electronics in 2002 from Middlesex University in London, United Kingdom . He went on to qualify as a NLP Master Practitioner helping people with mental issues and life coaching.  After 15 years in sales & marketing he decided to start his own business and named it after his aunt Fakraaj, Fakraaj Herbals Limited (FH).

Growing up in a family with a long line of herbalists some could say that he inherited knowledge that could not have otherwise been taught. Growing up Asim quickly learnt from his mother and aunt how herbs and minerals can be mixed to help the whole family as an alternative to pharmaceutical medicines. At 22 Asim had been suffering from severe acne himself for 5 years. He tried Chinese herbal medicine and found it had little or no effect. He found the acne went away within a month and it has not come back since.
